Joseph Gallant made his solo debut…
opening for Josh Turner at the Maine State Pier in Portland, ME playing in front of thousands of new fans for the first time in 2017. Local radio and promoters began to take notice. Josh Turner would have Joseph support him again at Hampton Beach, NH Casino Ballroom and The MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD in 2018.
Cody Johnson was the first artist to take Joseph Gallant outside of his home markets playing shows as direct support in new markets like Boston, MA and Silver Spring, MD. Simultaneously, back in Maine and New Hampshire, Joseph was supporting acts like Granger Smith, Kip Moore, and Chase Rice who ultimately would all be the catalysts that kept Joseph going. Frankie Ballard would be the next artist to carry Joseph as direct support through markets new and old all over the northeast and would eventually encourage Joseph to take the next step of moving from Maine to Nashville.
Fast forward through one more summer supporting acts like Kip Moore and Jake Owen in the northeast sheds, Joseph quits his day job and moves to Nashville in September, 2018. Within just weeks of arriving he makes his debut appearance as a special guest on stage with none other than friends Halfway To Hazard and another special guest, Michael Ray. Joseph has since headlined The Analog @ Hutton Hotel in Nashville and supported Walker McGuire, Lindsey Ell, and Jon Langston on select dates along the east coast.
